Over the years sponsors have expressed concern that the children who await our Rally visits go hungry that day, as the government feeding scheme only feeds the kids on official school days. We have grappled with this challenge, but have now come up with the simplest of solutions! If the Rally sponsors an extra day’s worth of the feeding scheme at each school, the learners get a meal on Rally day - and we support local enterprise! So … if you would like to contribute R1 000 towards this “food fund”, you will ensure that 100 children don’t go hungry on Rally day.
